SB, An increase in long term debt (vs core debt) resulting from expanding customer financing operations is a positive. I never said, or meant to imply, that long term debt had not increased. If you look at the results of IBM's finance operations (17% margin if I remember correctly) and what we know about IBM's low cost of capital, I believe you will agree that there is no bad news here.
