The questions that arises in my mind is: why would Nortel make an alliaance agreement
with Westell in the last two months if they have a stake in Amtx product?
Nortel//Westell//NUKO are jointly developing and jointly marketing a complete
broadband soltuion--including interactive video, ADSL and the complete platform.
It seems to me that Nortel is intimately knowledgable about Amtx's product and
chooses to go with Westell because Westell is closer to market and more likely to
capture a significant share of the market.
The RBOCs have done all they can to retard the deployment of ADSL but ISP, IMO, will
be the catalyst for widespread deployment in 97. If so, we will have an explosion.
I hold significant positions in both Amtx and Westell.
