Post says analysts keen

Argentina Gold Corp ARPShares issued 33,113,3891998-10-21 close $1.95Thursday Oct 22 1998The Financial Post reports in a Hot Stock corporate profile in its Thursday edition that Argentina Gold is bringing the depressed Vancouver Stock Exchange some cheer. Reporter Keith Damsell says the Howe Street bulls have been on the run, until good news arrived last week from one of Vancouver's lowest profile mining promoters, Adolf Lundin. On Oct. 15, the Lundin-managed Argentina Gold released what some analysts are describing as the best drill results of the year. In an Oct. 16 report, Vancouver mining analyst Andrew Muir of Canaccord Capital said that hole 80 from the Veladero project produced "spectacular assays." He says the results are a pleasant surprise and hole 80 should be classified as a discovery hole. Argentina spokeswoman Sophia Shane says the numbers are an early indication that there may be up to four million ounces of gold buried in Veladero's promising Annable site.
