I still like the idea, but I don't know if Cyrix is willing to commit that kind of cash right now. Cyrix I think (personal opinion) is looking to be lean and mean, which is in my view exactly what the need to do to grow.

It's hard to advance when you are pulling 200lbs of dead weight with you (you try running with a baseball player hanging off you ankles). I think they will trim things that are not essential (the PC manufacturing is one of those areas).
