I have felt for some time now that this y2k issue is the new excuse that companies are using for lower numbers, missed earnings, etc. And it's a good excuse so why not use it while it's available.

I agree... thats why I like the new buzzword....saturation! Which means, weve already migrated everybody to our software and dont have anything else to sell them.

In truth I think there is something to y2k for some very high end customers - primaily the Sap customer base - that were considering a new package, say SCM or SFA. But for the traditional ERPs I doubt y2k is the real problem, jmo.
