Dart,

I haven't been on Ebay for a while...but today it is much much slower than it has been in the recent past... They do always like to blame it on some ISP or backbone somewhere... The problem sure doesn't seem to affect any of the other sites I visit... Hard to know though... Could try the "ping" thingy...

Just tried a "tracert"... seems there are 7 hops to Ebay.com... but 12 hops to a search on ebay it was 12 hops with a bog down at exodus.. which is the Eaby ISP?? I think... then I tried to go to a specific auction page and it was about 14 hops with the bog down at Exodus and the Ebay Cayman server... It looks like Ebay needs to take some of the blame..

I'm not an expert on this ...

Do a "tracert" at the DOS prompt...

Like "C:/tracert ebay.com" put any web site in place of ebay.com Try c:/search.ebay.com

I see Ebay was blaming the MCI NAP (Network Access Point) a few days ago...
