I agree that Micron is biting off quite a bit with the TI deal. Will it turn out to be more than they can chew? I don't know. I don't know if they have the management depth to handle that many fabs. I do know that going into the TI fabs and saying "Everything you know is wrong, we're going to tell you the right way to do everything" isn't likely to win a lot of friends, and they could reasonably be expected to lose a lot of top TI talent (but keep the dregs who have nowhere else to go). Thus they could easily end up with morale problems at the new plants, which will of course lead to yield problems.

These problems could happen, or maybe not. Either way they are a ways off.
