To all: Brokers are spreading rumors about Barrick buying stock. Insider report (read below) is talking a double digit buyout. The ONLY facts I am comfortable with are that House 82 has bought over 40% of the stock over the last 2 days. That is on average over 150,000 shares per hour. We had a mini short squeeze in the last half hour of trading...expect a larger one tomorrow morning. If (82) buys like they have for the last 2 sessions tomorrow, we will break 3.00 without batting an eye. Insider Report FWIW >>ARP blasted up the charts again today, trading almost 3 million shares to close $0.75 higher at $2.70. The daily gain was even larger than the rise on the day they announced their 212-meter intersection of 3.67 g/t gold and 47.71 g/t silver from the Veladero property in Argentina. Analysts are dubbing Hole 80 a "Discovery Hole" and talk of a double-digit buyout is starting to spread. Speculators are placing their bets that the next assays will come back as favorable as Hole 80, but the feverish trading could make their bet an all-or-nothing proposition in the short term.<< W
