if you are going to get into TA you should get some charting software. I use metastock. One of the reasons I say this is there is a system tester area which allows you to test strategies on securities using whatever criteria you desire for entry and exits. It also has a optimizer setting which runs through a set of possible buy and sell lines for stochs (example does all others too) to give a optimal buy line and sell line for each individual security. the 80 and 75 are just average, not optimal.
