Pat, from some of the SEC filings, there were actually several patents involved. I would be very curious to know if AMTX could collect royalties if Westell or someone else built units for Nortel. Any patent attorneys/engineers out there?

On the surface, I can understand Amati's frustration with Motorola if they took almost 2 years from their licence to produce the chip! Whoever's fault it was, it certainly cost a lot of market share.

John

PS: I am still hoping to find some gold nuggets for Amati in this. :-)
