I agree that the hybrid will be the bridge vehicle that will eventually lead to all-electric vehicles. At some point it will occur to the person that uses that vehicle for their daily 20 mile use that the gas generator part hasn't had to kick in for months, and that it was an unnecessary added expense. In the meantime, the volume created for the need for longer range batteries for the hybrid will drive their cost down.

I think hybrid cars and electric scooters are the way to go now. That is not to say that I am against electric cars. I just agree that, for the masses, the hybrid will win them over.
