Yes, it's a shame that so many engage in such behavior here, and do destroy threads.
Too bad, too, that some egos are so delicate and frail they can find one brief question so threatening, they just fall apart, regress to the behavior of young children, have to leave in a pouting snit, or bait and argue -- all of which destroys threads.
Sometimes it seems that only adulation is tolerated by some, and that just one suggestion of another opinion will crush them.
Or that the same egos are so great that because they make some contributions in one area, they think everyone who doesn't, in that area, is inferior and should be stamped out.
And, that they should be exempted from the ordinary rules of common consideration and courtesy because they are smart about one thing.
So, those people are just amazed that a place like SI would dare to suspend THEM for breaking the rules -- they think they should be exempted from all rules because they seem to have some special talent or gift.
It would be nice if you constructively participated here and offered your point of view on charting. That's something at which you seem to be very talented. Otherwise, aren't you doing what you claim you deplore?
