Korean manufacturer Hanil Valence is setting up a pilot line to produce
lithium polymer battery cells, says the Korea Times. The cells, which come in
two sizes, are designed to power notebook PCs. The 10cm-by-10cm cells are 4mm
thick with a capacity of 4,000mA/h, or 4.6mm thick with a capacity of
4750mA/h. The company expects to produce 1 million units of the cells next
year.
