Michael, you stated: If a trader is active and experienced, then CyBerTrader is clearly better software at a comparable price.

Now maybe it isn't fair to discuss this under the CASTLE thread, (but I'll take it where I find it) - Please tell us WHY CyBerTrader is better than:

Castle

MB Traders

JPR Capital

I am still "browser based" and have been procrastinating a move to one of the above four vendors that were mentioned here yesterday.

My complaint with Wall Street Access' Browser Based system is Slowness, usually 30 sec to 1 to see the a limit order to offer show up in the Level II screen and usually 1 to 3 minutes for a confirmation of execution.
Wednesday for example, it took 60 minutes to get a confirmation for a "buy at market" order on DELL.

Also constant disconnects, usually when I press the "execute" button, thereby losing trades several times.

I trade 1 to 8 tickets a day, when I trade. I trade from 7 to 15 days a month currently.

A concern of mine besides SERVICE and PRICE is the financial STRENGTH of the vendor.

My current broker Wall Street Access has served me for 15 years. I don't want to change and find the vendor go out of business, locking me out from my investments.
