Netscape 4.5 is now available. There's no change in the handling of cookies but they added a feature to automatically spell check out going Email if you want and the address book has a new home in the tray just above the clock. There are also a few other minor changes in preferences. When doing a Smart Update you can't update any Plug Ins the same time you upgrade the browser, you have to complete the browser upgrade then update other components after. The window that comes up while Netscape is loading is much cooler looking than the previous ones. I love a much overlooked feature Netscape added to Communicator 4.x, the Tool Bar Folder. It lets you set up a folder of Bookmarks that become a tool bar below the address bar. It lets go directly to bookmarks without having to scroll through all your bookmarks. If you have you bookmarks organized into folders it's especially useful. This feature can be activated by clicking View while in Edit Bookmarks then clicking Set as Tool Bar Folder. Happy Browsing.
