FYI, I saw an interesting quote from Neil Weintraut, an analyst at Hambrecht & Quist. This is the firm that took Remedy public. He said that the customer-interaction software market. of which help desk is a subset, should grow sevenfold by 2000, and the market will total $3 billion at that point.
