Ms. Janssen, before many start looking at this thread as the Gordon Gecko fan club, I think it would be good to tone down the "let's hear it for greed!" cheers.

Striving to do and be your best is not greed. Wanted to be successful does not require greed. Wanted to provide for your family does not require greed. Greed is the line a person crosses where personal gain is more important than all other considerations. A greedy person no longer feels the necessity to be honest. A greedy person is not concerned with who is hurt while they strive toward their goal. A greedy person puts personal benefit ahead of virtually all else.

And I would say it is fair to assume that almost everyone I have read posts from here do NOT fall into that category. I detect a sense of honesty, integrity and a sense of fair play here on this thread right along side with a desire for success.

And all of these things can coexist without greed AND with a desire for success.

Personally, I would love to see FNTN succeed. But if I needed to sell all my FNTN today at a loss to raise the money for a doctor bill for anyone in my family, I would do it in a minute.

Greed is NOT necessary for success. But greed is many times necessary for complete failure.
