Total invoicing has reached $2,417,000 after 10 months. Bridges' 1998 goal is $2,800,000. Recent Accomplishments Arizona Sale Leads Great September Bridges generated over $146,000 in invoices from 104 new site sales in September. Over 2,280 schools and career centres now subscribe to Bridges' national and regional career development services. Thirty-three of September's sales were in Arizona. Arizona has jumped from half a dozen subscribers to nearly 40, and all 33 new sites are subscribing for three years. Bridges Boosts Sales Staff Four new sales staff, Eileen Guimond, Darryl Johnston, Randy McEachen and James Twible, have joined the company, boosting internal sales from six to 10. Salespersons average 175 sites sales per year. Increasing the sales staff is expected to increase revenues proportionally. Emerging Events and Opportunities Portfolio Plus Released on CX-98 Bridges' Portfolio Plus will be marketed by Industry Canada later this year. The online career portfolio will be distributed to one million grade 6 to 12 students across Canada. The 1,000+ Canadian schools subscribing to Bridges' career development services will get the portfolio as part of their subscription. Others will receive a free stand-alone online portfolio. New Market - Youth Corrections Bridges and the Justice Distance Learning Consortium are discussing the possibility of integrating Bridges' career development services into the youth correction systems of New York, Florida and Texas. Fifty-two youth correction facilities represented by the JDLC are considering the service. The Texas regional sales representative expects contracts to fall into place within a month or two, as the technical aspects of delivering the company's service to corrections facilities will take a bit longer to organize |
