SB -- take a look at the url you posted: wsrn.com i'm returning to this because it reinforces your point about IBM's growing debt and i respect your comments which i read on the MB thread. 1000 million = 1 billion. according to your reference, debt increased from 9.9 billion in 1996 to 14.6 billion recently, a difference of 4.7 billion or $4,700 million, not 500 million. tom phillips
