If history were to repeat itself this would be the day it jumps. So it did gap up and then fell back. Interesting... Volume was very high for that first hour. I don't have any access to intraday stuff from comparable episodes in the past.

I sold the wrong stock (NSM not PPOD) at that point it seems.

PS as soon as I finished typing it jumped up a quarter again.
