It's because ANTEC is touchy about their connection with TCI.

And since the AT&T deal is imminent, they have probably been told to lay low on public statements connecting ANTEC to TCI. I have gotten the idea recently that John Malone and John Egan go way back and they are joined at the hip -- but not for the whole world to see. You have to dig to find the connection, they don't openly flaunt it.

I have long been a fan of the Cornerstone system. Cox has bought a lot and will buy more. I am not aware that Cox has a deal with any telephone company presently.

The 40% international sales seems high to me. I think it is probably more like 68% domestic and 32% intl. Notice the words "approximately 60%" means it could be anywhere from 57% to 69%, most likely the higher percentage from what I can see.

I don't think they were trying to scare investors with their warning (though it probably had that effect anyway), I think they were covering their butt for next quarter.
