In its message I received today, Etrade says:

"All system performance issues were resolved yesterday morning and you should no longer be experiencing any difficulties logging onto our system." And yet, today when I tried to log on afterhour (around 9 pm), it came back with the message "Forbidden." I thought Etrade offers 24-hour online service. If it is doing maintenance, it should at least warn customers in advance. I have had too many problems with this service and I will definitely move to other brokerages.

By the way, the message also mentions: "For any orders that may have been delayed in getting to the markets, we are proactively reviewing these transactions to ensure that our customers receive the prices they are due. If you feel that you have been financially impacted and it has not been adjusted, we would be happy to review your transaction." How about customers who suffered losses because they could not get into the system in the first place? Any comments?
