Thean...What's your opinion of Conoco? I just did a comparison of the fundamentals of TX,CHV,MOB,XON,AN compared to COC, and Conoco is priced better than its peers. Lower PE, debt/equity, price/book, and almost 1 bil. cash on hand...
I am quite sure that if I tune-out the RT quotes every 5 minutes and even lessen my SI exposure [blasphemy!], put in a sell/stop around $36...then I'll definitely realize some large profits, even if it takes into '99 [which it will]. I'm not on margin, have enough money in the bank to live on and really think that this "dummy" approach might just work. <g>...Also will spare me any capital gains for '98. |
