Chuzz- Thanks for the info on Murphy..Although there are some on the thread who may be better suited to judge (him), since I have been following Dell, I have found Murphy to be knowledgable and balanced (in the sense that it appears he is not a perma-bull on (all) technology, or Dell).. Saw him on the tube in September, at which time he liked CPQ over Dell (!)..as his no. 1 stock pick...dont know his feelings now.... I'm sure you're aware he writes the California Technology Stock Newsletter...(think I got that right) I guess the evidence now is pretty powerful that Y2K is a net gain for Dell (remember when there was debate about this earlier this year?)
