I have no axe to grind. I call it the way I see it. I see big danger ahead for the stock market and a very nice rise in Gold to $500 an ounce by the Year 2000.
I'll let Bobby do the short term technical analysis-although I think this rally is a combination of a double bottom placed a few weeks ago and an irrational euphoric hope that earnings will improve based on aggressive Fed Easing. I don't think the Bear is over by a long shot.
Presently, I am not short. I'm waiting for signs for this rally to fizzle. New Highs? I don't know. I see an even worse decline, a slow Chinese water torture Bear Market coming after this last hope is crushed. It may take a little while to set in.
