Highest Volatility Stocks Over Last 16 Weeks (ending
10/21/98)

The following list shows the most volatile stocks over
the last 16 weeks. Volatility is measured using an
indicator developed by Marc Chaikin. This indicator
quantifies volatility by measuring the distance
between daily high and low prices. The wider the daily range,
the more volatile. Volatility often increases around
market tops and decreases at market bottoms.
