All kinds of junk is rallying today. Short covering is for sure happening. This is why you have to limit your bets. Good short are more volatile than the average stock. I heard people are pulling money out of al kinds of hedge funds, not just hedge funds that made a living on debt arbitrage. if this is true, hedge funds that are short may have to cover as their capital goes down. I am down but I like what I see this stage will not last long (IMO). and I must warn you that, if anything, my record on market timing calls is better on the contrarian side:-)
