We collected over 8,000 rock samples as part of our exploration program on licenses covering over 1 million acres in the Altai Project area. These samples were analysed for 32 elements as part of a standard IPC package, plus analysed for gold using wet geochemical methods and an AA finish.
We were looking for gold, mercury, antimony, arsenic, silver, barium, thallium, fluorine anomalies in Paleozoic sediments. We found these, but in addition, we identified some significant base metal anomalies associated with gabbroic or pyroxenitic intrusions into Paleozoic sediments. Some highly elevated base metal values were obtained and reported, but we did not describe the specific magnitude, dimension or settings of these anomalies. It was (and is) not a priority.
We intend to follow-up at an appropriate time, but that time isn't now.
