Fri 23 Oct 98 News Release
Mr. DevRandhawa reports
Strathmore has been requested by a uranium major to send a 50 kilogram
sample of Strathmore's Macusani uranium ore to North America for final
metallurgical testing. Strathmore is presently shipping this ore to
determine if the ore can be eruiched directly, bypassing the milling
process. Should this test be successful, Strathmore should be able to
produce uranium profitably from the company's Macusani project in Peru at
current market prices.
Hugh Mogensen has resigned as a director. Scott Mundell from Kelowna, B.C.
has been chosen as an interim replacement.
