Hello Colin,

For reasonably active traders like yourself, the cost of trading can be significant if you use a 'lacking' system. There is no doubt that Castle's Kill Key system is better than most web browser based e*brokers...and there are some considerably more advanced systems like MB Trading's Real Tick and CyBerCorp's CyBerTrader.

When I say "cost of trading," I am referring to commission + slippage + pro-rated cost of trading platform. If you are executing, say, 100 transactions per month, and are losing 1/8 of a point just 5 percent of the time on thousand share trades, then you are leaving $625 per month on the table. Is it reasonable to assume that the minute that it takes for your order to show up on level II costs you money? Is it reasonable to assume that disconnects and down time cost you money?

If you are thinking..."Yup!"...then the next step is to switch to a professional trading platform.

The easiest way that I can compare CyBerTrader to Real Tick (which is MB Trading and JPR Capital's platform) is to refer you to the comparison found on the cybercorp.com website.

If you are an experienced trader, then you will definitely be able to benefit from either system over a browser-based system If you are more of a novice, or if you are a less active trader, then perhaps Real Tick is a more suitable product.

Just opinions...check and see for yourself.
