I think it is a valid question. One has to always consider the person behind the talk. Motives are important when deciding on how seriously one should consider the comments of another and to what end they are being delivered. Indeed your time spent here is enigmatic. Myself I come to this board to hear the ideas of those who are long or short (it appears you are neither) and to find out why they are so invested. For me it is a natural consequence of having a great part of my assets bound up in the fortunes of MSFT. But perhaps I am missing something here - maybe I should be over on the Sun board bad mouthing Solaris even though I don't own SUNW or care anything about them. I thought, therefore, that you might be able to share with us what particular benefit comes from such apparently bizarre activity.
