This Pollard quasi deal absolutely outrages me. I have written two emails to the White House about it.

I might even reverse my resolve to vote all Democratic (as an independent) in reaction to the Republican misuses of the Lewinsky matter, over this.

Let me be real clear. Divided loyalties are the issue. It is one thing for Jews to support Israel, Greeks to support Greece as opposed to Turkey, and Irish to support Republican causes. It is something else entirely for those sentiments to induce someone with high security clearance to violate the espionage laws of the United States because he feels the US is not tilting sufficiently towards the homeland towards which he has primary loyalty.

I demand that every American's first loyalty be to the United States. Period. Advocating titling towards the homeland within the law is fine. But when push comes to shove, if its shove...and the person commits espionage. I say....execute him.

Make an example.

I will go ballistic if Pollard is freed. And I have been a Clinton supporter. I think the Republicans are vastly misusing the Lewinsky noise. And I am generally pro Israeli. (But I am not Jewish.)
