Technology Stocks : Informix (IFMX) Any thoughts?

I belive there are institutions looking for undervalued stock from solid companies like Informix. This is evident with the recent trading on Informix. As soon as the price hit about 20 3/8, volume went up dramatically without pushing the price further down in any significant way. So there are institutions willing to purchase this stock "at the right price". This has provided a price support for the stock. There have been alot of congestion in this stock lately. I do not see the about 1/4 point difference between closes being significant under the circumstances. The price has been faring very well under the sell pressure.

I do believe that there is still downside potential. I am seeing some weakness at its current level. This stock can potentially break through 20 and temporarily even go down to about the 18 level. If this does happen, I believe that there will be a very large volume spike that will help send it back up to current levels and start the uptrend. I am actually looking for such a volume spike. This would be a good sign to me.

I am getting a little concerned about some institutions not waiting for a profit at a higher price on stock that they have been holding on to for quite possibly over six months. I guess this is the time for some to change the portfolio in high tech investments for the new year. If I were them, I would of done this selling a few days ago! Perhaps they did not have an investment lined up for purchase until now.

Many institutions and investors follow Informix. High tech is still in favour. Many of these investors I believe are searching for "value" for this year's investment portfolio. Informix IMO is such a stock.

Now I just have to figure out a way to have a broker provide me access to SelectNet or even InstiNet in order to place intelligent bids on this stock. NASDAQ is definitely a racket!
