I speak from experience because I got caught in it last year in Q4--a very painful experience. Painful indeed. The correction hit in late October last year, leaving year end for the painful house cleaning. This year is different, we have had two SERIOUS meltdowns already where many were capitulated. IMHO, much of the selling has already taken place, mostly for capital preservation purposes, with tax considerations being an after thought. The Fed actions have done wonders for market sentiment. IMHO, we conclude the year with strength.
