>>>Pat, from some of the SEC filings, there were actually several patents involved. I would be very curious to know if AMTX could collect royalties if Westell or someone else built units for Nortel. Any patent attorneys/engineers out there?<<<

Did I read it wrong? -

<<<Group I--Consists of 3 patent applications and 1 patent (shared with Northern Telecom), consisting of technology necessary to conform to the ANSI standard for ADSL. The Company has informally agreed with the ANSI standards body to license these patents to third parties on fair and equitable terms.>>>

I thought this said there were 3 patent applications and *1 patent shared with Northern Telecom. . . . *

At any rate, it must not mean a lot to Nortel as they're going a different route at the moment.

If Westell built product for Nortel, it would have MOT's CopperGold chip inside which would be licensed from AMTX.

Pat
