small cap: the tax selling of most mutual fund end on 10/31, so from now until 11/31 is the chance to pick up some good small cap. i basically pick the one with low p/e, high grow, low debt, high cash, etc. some favorate sectors are oil service and tech.

when in bull market, small cap will actually out perform big cap.
