RE: optional drive swapping

If you really like this idea, you'll love laptops. I have a Fujitsu that swaps a floppy drive for a cd drive (which I never have with me). An infernal nuisance which uses more space than it saves. (The appropriate place for a drive is in a computer where the cockroaches won't get sunburnt.) There are many other brands who use the same dumb idea (and they are always incompatible with any other brand and cost a bundle to replace.) The great thing about a tower is that it have bays and bays and can host a number of drives instead of having them scattered in the clutter getting soaked with Pepsi, doused with cigarette ashes, and sprinkled with pepper, salt, and ketchup.
