BRLI popped up in a screen I was doing a month or so ago. My normal practice is to ask the company for reports, 10K, Proxy Statement. BRLI didn't send a proxy statement or 10K, and in response to a second request said I have to wait until the new ones are issued. Also, they aren't on EDGAR. So I was suspicious that there must be something strange about the company. However, when I went to the SEC reading room the documents (from the previous year) were on file and, although I didn't take many notes, I saw no indication of anything especially sleazy going on.
