The 800 number that FNET is offering sounds unique to the industry, but can anyone tell me who is paying for the 800 service? In other words, if FTEL has a toll free 800 number for customers to call in to speak to tech support or customer service, then FTEL pays for those calls rather than the customer. That is what 800 service is all about. It is "toll free". How will this be profitable for FNET to offer a toll free number for internet access if thousands of customers will be using it to dial up at a flat fee per month? What if someone dials up for hundreds of hours each month? Won't this result in considerable costs for FNET? I have been following this thread since the summer and am as excited as everyone else at the potential of this company. But I haven't seen this question raised yet. Thanks in advance.
