Ralph, some of your thoughts are so long, that a reader has to work to see what you are saying. There has been so much said, both pro and con, I think it would be useful if we would all, in one sentence comments, give our perceptions of JD and his investment style.

Let me give a few examples to start:

JD, over the several years I have subscribed (since 1993), has done a pretty good job, IMO, of picking stocks.

JD does a very poor job of advising subscribers when to get out.

JD falls in love with his picks and loses his objectivity about declining picks.

If you and others like this idea, please post your thoughts. I would like to use a compilation of these comments to make up my mind about staying with him or canceling.
