Re: VRC up strongly Friday

Hi Barbara,
I was watching and can tell you that a lot of the buying was in big chunks at the 'ask' price. When the price surged to 10 1/2 about 1:30PM, it looked like the buyer(s) backed off and let the price settle to ~9 3/4, then came back and bought more into the close.
Someone wanted a lot of VRC (Still wants more?--I guess we'll see.)

Why? My thoughts and guesses ---

VRC has been disproportionately depressed relative to the sector, is still a few dollars below it's mid-September high, and could be seen as the most compelling value in the sector (IMHO).

Someone trading on early knowledge of some event of a positive nature?

George Soros read Big Dog's post?

-----In any event, it was nicely done. Buying with market weak and sector weak; Stepping back from the surge to shake-out the mo-mo day traders and such. I'm pleased to have such smart co-owners of VRC.<G>

regards,

diana
