Hi Dwight - you asked for esoteric, here it is

Stock charts are as much tied to nature as everything else around us. Like atoms to molecules - earth to the Solar System - to the Universe and beyond (loved that movie).
Stock charts too have cycles within cycles - like seconds to minutes to days to millenniums - events occur within those time frames that are separate but yet connected.

That said the Short term looks good (11 - 11 1/2 is very possible), Intermediate and Long Term Chart have NOT turned the corner. There is still much base building that needs to occur for those to be a solid bet.

Charts are the result of events not the initiator. The best informed buy or sell first on solid information, before events or news or price momentum becomes obvious to the casual investor or press.

The right CEO announcement and next Qtr results could perhaps move us to 14 -15 but it will be a bumpy ride. Let's see what chart looks like along the way and react accordingly. That is, after all, the best part of technical analysis - follow the chart and keep the guessing to a minimum.

In my case, I'm still far too human and guess far too often. Do I smell a buyout, there I go again being human.
