what's the historical pattern for CSCO before and after earnings
are released. is there a sharp move upward a few days before
earnings and then a selloff after the news is out?
<<

Typically, the run up starts about a week before earnings.
CSCO CC's are pretty much identical every time - no surprises
usually. Sometimes there are profit takers after the release,
that's to be expected. Your best bet as always is to buy and
hold - CSCO will never disappoint the long term investor.
