Ttf, what I meant was, the web has created some new opportunites for ERPs that didnt exist before. These companies can exploit the web for cross business commerce... we dont need a new vendor like Crossworlds to come up with something, the established players can play too.

There was an earlier discussion regarding McCormick and Dodge etc where some said that perhaps psft had reached the same level of mkt saturation as the mainframe apps vendors 15 yrs ago and the implication was that it might be all downhill from here. I might agree, except for the internet and the possibilities it has created for business-to-business commerce, which as far as I know, NO ERP software company is exploiting.

Just a hypothetical.
