Drew, I don't know how many companies I've seen report good earnings w/respect to estimates -- only to sell off heavily right after. Lately its run about 50/50 of the stocks I've been watching.

Look at the chart of BBY. Very nice put winner for me. I bought puts the day before they reported. Earnings were good w/respect to the estimates and down she went.

My point was it is very hard to tell if something suspicious is up based solely on the move of the stock before/after some announcement. Sometimes word leaks out on takeovers, but earnings -- how do you really know?
