Apakhabar,
I understand why THQ will not receive a PE like Coke. What I wonder about is how much influence the institutions have over the price movements in THQ. For example, I expect that sometime in the next few weeks one or more of the analysts covering the company will issue an upward earnings revision for the 4th quarter and probably for next year, since Farrell all but guaranteed continued strong growth over these time periods. I also expect that when this happens the stock will pop upwards just as it did a few weeks ago when Piper started coverage, even though this will be old news for anyone who knows anything about the company. If this is the case, then basically what we have is a situation where nothing much happens to the price of the stock until one of these firms decides to make something happen - which obviously implies that the institutions have tremendous control over price movements. I suspect that this is particularly the case with small companies that no one has heard of like THQ, since if it were a large cap company there would be enough demand from the general public to make the markets more efficient. Do you agree or am I way off base.

Rugrats,
