Hello Teevee: That is an interesting theory., and may be proven true., it seems that multiple dyke emplacements are a given., what as well seems plausible is 4 distinct areas of intersection., 1st being the NW dyke penninsula., the second being the S.E. intercepts (4) in 96 I believe., the 22 hole intercepts with diatreme based small breeciated bodies., now the deep intercepts to the North showing split interceptions., my question to you if this is a conical inward dipping system., composed of kimberlitic layers., would not layers have been intercepted near the middle of the lake where they drilled to around 250 Meters., the area of the landing strip last winter.? The new 2 holes indicate a dip extension to 500 meters off the Penninsula., now we have deeper holes on the E.side of Snap Lake entering kimberlite in much the same manner as 186 penetrations. I would love to see a detailed mapping of the current holes at Snap Lake. The fence drilled across the indicator head were shallow around 75meters average as I recall with the last 4 holes hitting the dykes near the S.E. corner however shallow were those holes as well. Do you feel that 186 with the deep intersections are part of the layered system extending to the deep holes in the last press release. Granitic alteration in one of those holes is similiar to 186 parameters., where the hanging wall entered unaltered granite. Regardless., I feel comfortable in the 4-5 mil tons scenario with potentially much more as the story unfolds. It is a warm fuzzy feeling since most of the people following the play have positions well below a 1.00C., and if those following the deep drilling scenario that was laid out in June of 97 are sitting comfortably in the .60C range., I know I am not going to sell if weakness should occur. I somewhat chuckle at the fact that six months ago., few if any credited me or this company with this potential. Now it is the darling of newsletter writers and internet promoters accross cyberspace. I am hopeful that the 22 drill holes of last winter will report some good diamond counts relative to the counts in the NW dyke system. Many scourned my prediction of stellar diamond distribution and large stones., I guess I am having the last laugh now. Sincerely George J. Tromp |
