Thanks Mark, for the link. I don't profess to be a technical whiz, but other than these systems being 64-bit word machines, their performances and time frames, seem to be more Xeon competitors than Merced. I will yield to your superior technical knowledge for the correct answer. Mark, ---Do you see any additional opportunities for PTEC implied in this article? ---Will HP and IBM be likely to extend use of Phoenix for their BIOSs in their workstations? ---If so, is it likely that Sun would also come over? ---And last, would CPQ be more inclined to use PTEC, to supply BIOSs for the Alpha workstations in their Commercial Division, in order to get a leg up in preparation for Merced?
