Somewhat OT: Friday WSJ page A13: "Tokyo's bank-bailout package went into effect Friday, opening a line of 60 trillion yen ($514 billion) in public money to the banking industry." Isn't that like buying a welfare queen a Cadillac? This kind of policy will have about as much effect on the behavior of the business world as it would have on a welfare queen, both being slothful and corrupt. Back in the USA, BankAmerica Chairman David Coulter loses 1.9 Billion, and resigns with severance pay worth an aggregate $100 Million (300,000 shares of BAC valued at $16.8 Million, and 5 Million a year for the rest of his life). Where the hell are the morality police? Still looking up Clinton's axxhole? john
