Bill: There are all kinds of shades of gray in TA. The black and whiters are the ones who have a rigid system and stick to them regards
I do look at a lot of stuff, but as for as Market Direction (not talking about intra day) I almost always go with my stuff. And, it has paid off for me over the years. That is one of the reasons, I don't pay much attention to "pay for the information" GURUS. I am NOT putting them down, I just don't need them!
However, I do like to look for confirmation via traditional TA, but almost never go against my indicators. And, the few times I have, I usually regret it. <g>
My A/D Indicator is not a traditional Investment Software Indicator. So, I can not apply it to the VIX. I am not following the VIX at this time, but thanks for the suggestion!
I guess the only real GURUS I pay any attention to or my fellow posters on the TSO and BK threads. So, I think you one and all. SI has made day trading a lot more fun than it use to be. I can't imagine going back to day trading like I did in the eighties, sitting alone in my home office without human contact for 8 to 10 hours. Except the occasional call to my broker.
And Bill...thank you for sharing!
